I have 6 year old male that drinks from a water dish from time to time, he seems to drink for a very long time, but as soon as he is dun drinking there still the same amount of water left in the container, I can see the muscles in his head contracting it looks like hes getting a drink but you'd think some water would be gone. misting seems work well for me but I still offer a water dish.
