i am the one that melgr was referring to (i think)...i recently completed a nice indoor enclosure...i used a preformed pond (easy and relatively cheap to purchase and comes in all different sizes)...I am attaching 2 pics, first is without the recent stand i built for the enclosure - so that my dog cannot eat the tort's food (or the torts)and the 2nd pic is with the stand but is a pretty bad pic...please feel free to ask me any questions you might have...They really love their new home and seem more active since they "moved in"...one end is warm and dry (with a nice basking area with rocks) and one end is much more humid and kept very moist...They have a place to sleep on each side and do to use both sides - they do seem to prefer the log cabin that i built (in the dry end) - all 3 torts fit in there with lots of room to spare (for now). I also grow forage mix in trays and i'm guessing will need to switch them out ever 3 or 4 weeks once the torts devour the grass. The pics don't show the grass, but it's pretty easy to do and works well ...They do love to eat it and it looks cool too...hope this helps!
