Hey Nevin,

Ok, let me see if i can remember all those questions...

- Yes, klemmeri (neon day geckos) get along really well in groups. You could keep 3,4 or even 10 or more in a 30 gallon tank.

- Yes, grandis are the "giant day geckos" and you could keep either 1.1 of those or 1.1 standings day geckos together in a 30 gallon tall and they would be comfortable. I recommend one of those 2 (grandis or standings) as your first gecko. They get a little bigger (only 9 or 10 inches) and are easy to care for.

The grandis are much more attractive in my opinion. High red or "crimson" grandis are available too, but don't even waste your time trying to get one of the rare blue ones.
