the only legal way to ship a venomous snake is via delta dash (airport to airport). The only way to ship delta dash is to have an account with them. Minimum shipping charge for this is 70$. So they would be paying a minimum of $140 without any surgery. And paying someone to pick up the snake at the airport probably would not be cheap...and go through the trouble of shipping it back the same way. Box charges are not yet included.

So it does not make sense for someone to not just purchase from carolina reptile exchange in the first place. I cannot believe I just said this by the way. UNLESS they caught a venomous snake...wanted to keep it...but want the venom glands removed. What terrible luck this snake got.

I might rather have my den gassed, be eaten, and have my head sold as a key chain than have to deal with all this.
