I see a lot of photos of people holding venomous snakes behind the head like that to immobilize them. I've always wondered how you would release the snake from that position without getting tagged. I'm guessing that the snake is going to be pretty upset about the whole thing, I'd I'd think it would strike the instant it got the chance. Also, I'm certainly no expert, but is that pic really a gabby? The head looks different from most pics I've seen, which always show them with those huge heads and oversized venom glands.
