I have two anoles; one female and one male. I have noticed that when the make is sleeping, his eyes bulge WAY out. They almost lokk like they are going to pop out! When he wakes, they go back in. Is there something healthwise going on here or do they all do that?

They were both in pretty bad shape when I rescued them, so I thought something may be going on.

Oh, FYI, I made a hole in the lid of a plastic water bottle (20oz size)and put some aquarium air tubing in it. The hole is small enough to fit tightly around the tubing and prevent leaking. The bottle is turned upside down with the tubing going into the tank and they drink the drops at the end. It works just like bottles that can be purchased for small mammals, but cost about $0.50 You have to squeeze the bottle a little to make a few drops come to get them interested, but then they learn that it is a source of water.
