NICE schleg shot! Where was that taken?
The oropel phase is an absolutely amazing creature in the wild. after seeing hundreds in deli cups, I was still giddy to find a wild one. We found it in Tortuguero National Park. Nope, no sibon. In fact I've never seen any Sibon yet. I'll have to keep going, keep looking. Oh well I guess!
The Dipsas and the E. mimus were both found on the north caribbean versant, at a lodge called Selva Verde (not the La Selva Station. I found the Dipsas, but somebody else spotted the erythrolamprus. I also found a young Imantodes in the same area, but I have not been able to key it out yet, I have to get somebody else's pictures and look at the dorsal scales. A very cool little snake. Its not a speckled at least, for sure.
