I got a new girl for my male a while back and they had been "flirting" and getting along great - but no mating that I witnessed. I got up today and the female has a wound on the side of her neck. I tried taking a picture but it was too blurry. It is a decent size wound, but she appears to be acting normal. I need to seperate them at least until she heals, right? Also, do I take her to the vet or just keep an eye on her and the wound?

Thanks,
Lisa
