You are talking about African dwarf frogs (genus Hymenochirus). There is really no telling exactly what species you are looking at, but it is probably Hymenochirus boettgeri. This is the most common species on the pet trade. I don't know about breeding. Not many people breed them, because they are so readily available from large-scale commercial breeders in the United States and other parts of the world. You can look up breeding information and other stuff on the web.
