RE: Heat tape???

Have you ever used the heat cable? I just picked up a couple of lengths of this stuff from Big Apple Herp. It looks kind of thin and flimsy but the price isn't bad and it also looks like it has potential if it works well. I haven't built any racks to use it in yet so I don't know how it performs. I've been kicking around a few design ideas but I'm still not sure how to proceed. Anyone else have experience using this stuff?
