i am no expert but i like to play around with the camera, a camera captures light bounced off an image, if you have poor lighting the camera isnt going to fix it. outdoor shots with a cloudy sky seem to be the best at capturing true to life shots,,,look at gus's outdoor shots lately compared to the indoor shots that are being shown, some of the snakes i have seen posted lately are color enhanced i believe (i am not pointing any fingers so calm down everybody)i too have some poor indoor shots (but come on its 35 degrees outside right now!!)i have found that using a good quality full spectrum bulb (i use an ESU reptile super B 160 watt)over the subject and still using the flash for "fill" (no shadows) i get a pretty true to life image,close to an outdoor shot. you can take awesome pics with the cheapest camera out there if you understand lighting. thanks, john yocum
