WELCOME TO THE 3rd EDITION OF THE WEEK IN REVIEW:
First, I want to give a BIG thanks to Tosha in the BP forum for starting the week in review(WIR). So if you have some free time, go check out her original WIR posts about those crazy egg layers.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Not too much to consider this week EXCEPT the large amount of pics posted! Pictures this past week were out of this world. This year will continue to get better and better! Very exciting times ahead!

Breeding Age vs Size Most agree that age is most important.

Someone mentioned how everyone gets hung-up on buying from big name breeders when a lot of small timers produce boas of equal quality. However, I cannot find the post where this discussion took place. If anyone can link it in a reply, I would appreciate it since it was rather informative. Whoever you decide to buy from in 2006, remember to do your homework!

What makes a Surinam a Surinam?

Has anyone tried diatomaceous earth for treating mites?

SnoGlo Debate
What will they look like? Only time will tell.

QUOTE and TIP OF THE WEEK (all in one):

WELCOME NEWCOMERS and LURKERS: YAY! LOTS THIS WEEK!
Welcome caroleD to the boa forum. You will forever be known as “the 3-fingered boa girl” j/k. You sure stirred up some interesting responses! There seems to be more women than ever at herp shows these days (not that I’m looking). Unfortunately, my wife is not one of them. She loves turtles/lizards but only tolerates snakes....I think she'll get more into herps again when I hopefully produce her favs like pied BPs. Anyway, That is one nice boa too! Any breeding plans? (for your boa!)

Welcome Red (gothpython)!
Nice Pics of your collection!

Welcome Amber (Liann)
Nice Pics of your future boas
POST more pics after you get your new boas settled in.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
One goal for the WIR is to get newcomers or lurkers to post more frequently. Otherwise they'll silently read but rarely post or contribute. I'll try to include as many people as possible in the WIR but I feel bad if/when I leave someone out. If you think I missed a worthy pic or a link, please reply with it so that others can enjoy it too. Once again, THANK YOU FOR READING!

Sincerely, Jason
