Posted by: Sloas at Sat Feb 4 19:26:24 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Sloas ] I asked the same question on this forum about 6 months ago and let me tell you it really started a very long thread. If you get time you should be able to find it in the archives. The bottom line if I remember correctly it was done by either Brian Sharp or Pete Kahl the result was a litter of presumed double hets.I say presumed because to my knowlege the offspring were not bred back to each other to try and see if you would come up with anything different when both genes were present. The hang-up for most people as I recall was being able to pick out which of the homozygous offspring were Kahl or Sharp.Anyway its a very long thread with some interesting reading.Have fun!BTW I believe I remember one of the people who responded believed very strongly in the project and was either gonna start it or already had it going.Later!JOHN | ||
