What would it take for me to get a crested gecko?

Okay, so here's the thing; I am totally captivated by the crested gecko. Before I let this fondness go to far, I want to be sure that I have the proper location, etc. for a crested. My room is in the attic, so it's usually dark and it stays in the upper 70s and lower 80s most of the time. What else would I need for a crested gecko? e.g. heater, mister, lights, etc.
