I do not have enough bark in there for him to hide under now. When I did he went right under, but was out when I got back with the carpet. I put the caves in there so he feels like he is hiding, but I can still check on him without disturbing him. He has come out of his hiding spots a few times since I put it in there yesterday afternoon.
