IMO $90 isn't too much to spend on a columbian BCI, so in that respect it's OK. But what isn't OK is that the pet store sold you a snake that isn't what they claimed it to be. Personally, I'd be speaking to the owner of the store and let him know it's not OK in no uncertain terms. If he didn't seem genuine in his promise (not that the promise means he would actually comply) to change his practices regarding proper labeling I would take it a step further and file a report with the better business bureau.
Either the pet store (associate/manager/owner) or the breeder falsely advertised. He should either speak with his dishonest breeder or get honest himself. If you like your snake, then it's all good on that end- $90 isn't too much. What I'm thinking about is them duping future snake lovers and buyers.
