My older brother still has his original '69 Camaro with a 350 CI, 300 HP engine. I just ordered an '06 GT convertiple Mustang with every upgrade possible. The 4.6 liter engine works out to be only 281 CI but still throws 300 HP on 87 octane unleaded. I'm not sure how today's horsepower ratings compare with those back in the old muscle car days but the technology has certainly come a long way with better suspensions, electronic ignition, etc.
While I'll always love the cars I grew up with as a teenager there are still some road burners out there and the Mustangs retro look works for me. I love the new concept Challenger and hope it becomes available.
