Nice shots, but looks like you could use some more light (not sure about the white balance, since I can't see the actual live snake to compare the shots to). Check out picasa2 (free) by google. Small footprint, has some great quick edits and speedy email (with auto resize set to your preference) options. Anyways, know this isn't a photo critique forum, but you brought up the white balance issue so thought I'd add my opinion. Picasa2 has saved me tons of time.
