I kinda think it would be a little hard for the more experienced peopl on the forum to do this as in giving hard core help like diagnosing illnes and desease. With chams even if the husbandry is perfect sometimes things happen. Its kinda like in herp or medical mags in the Q&A sections the doctor will give general diagnosis but is always followed by "see a doctor to be sure" or "I would have to see in person" I could take advice from these guys and pic it apart from my own experiences, but the newbie could get confused. The fact is I could have done thing a certain way and give advice but really it is my own opinion of the fact and it might not work for the person.I would feel bad if something bad were to happen just because thier description of the prob was screwed up or their was a more underlying prob.I think the idea of the general husbandry sheet is good.If people have Q's I will tell them what I would do but also refer them to Chris Andersons site or something. Cham keeping is alot harder and indepth to figure out than most herp husbandry I dont know how many people I have convinced to get a beardie as a first herp instead of getting a cham. I love this forum especially since we have some serious dialog going on here.I know it gets a little frustrating hearing all the newbie ?'s just because they didnt read or research before buying but it kinda goes with the teritory being a forum and all.just my thought. | ||
