Posted by: tegu24 at Wed Feb 8 15:56:45 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by tegu24 ] if you just bought the newt, and your not attached to it yet, then i would suggest taking it back to the store you purchased it from and exchange it, if possible, just to be safe. otherwise, if you are sure that it is just a small patch of skin that is missing and not fungus, than you can put a thin coat of neosporan over the wound, and hopefully, it will heal quickly without incident.
