I have seen several young boas that show the backbone,and from what I have notice out of most of those is they are growing in lenght faster than they can keep up with as far as girth.They seem to catch back up once they hit the 3.5-4.0 ft mark.Dont get me wrong there may be an intestinal parasite problem,so maybe you she take a fecal to the vet.Its a pretty cheap test.Hope this helps!JOHN
