....in your waterbowl, i would switch to a smaller bowl, that she cant get in. i have maintained and bred snakes without letting them "soak" in bowls for years. if i see them going into shed i mist the enclosure a bit. i do not use hide boxes but you might try that to see if she uses it instead of the waterbowl. i doubt that in the wild snakes lie around in water holes. could be wrong but it would seem like a good place to get eaten. j yocum
