Flaking?

hey, a friend of mine has this boa right? and I was holding it today and I noticed it's scales were rubbing off on my hands, she says that's a bad molt and that she mists him any stuff to try and fix it.



Her other snakes molt cool, they come out in one big skin, but this one seems to molt in pieces, why is that? How can you fix it?
