missed your earlier thread so I'll say congrats here! he is very cute!
if you do have to use heat at night you can get a ceramic heat emitter. They do not give off any light - you don't want any light on him at night. If you do get the CHE just be sure you use a ceramic socket - it will melt a plastic one. You can move the other lights out of the way at night and just rest this on the screen - oh, wait - are you using a reptarium? May have to check about that CHE and its placement so it doesn't melt the material.
His name will evolve - and then you'll have lots of nicknames, too - like sweet pea both of my cats have that nickname (which then turns into pea pie and other silly names! )
