HI Jonno,

I have to agree with Jonathan, as far as doing some research first. Use the search function, and maybe go to google also. I have a 2 year old pair, and this is what works for me. Each is in a 2'x2'cage. You could probably start with a 10 gal. aquarium. I use newspapers for substrate, and a large wad of shreaded newspapers for a hide area. This provides an inexpensive, sterile, dry substrate which I change about every week as needed. I provide a hot spot of 90F by using an under tank heater stuck onto a ceramic tile about 1/4 " below the tank. Use a thermostat or dimmer switch and check your temps. Have clean water always available. Feed once every 7-10 days, and gradually increase the size of the prey item. Get him onto frozen thawed as soon as possible. Mine currently eat FT jumbo mice, or small FT rats about every week. ---Frank
