While it is always best to err on the side of safety and house all snakes individually (cept when breeding) one can feasibly house more than one snake to a cage. One just has to be very responsible about feeding and make sure they are seperated when feeding. Then watch them for a while after they are put back together to make sure they don't grab each other due to smelling like rats and maybe still being hungry.



The only other thing I can think of that might be a serious concern about housing two snakes (or more) together is if one might be a carrier of a disease and the other not. One snake can infect others and cause illness and even death. But if you got both of your snakes from reputable sources and you know they are both 100% healthy and captive produced then perhaps there is less risk. I still think that quarantine should always be practiced though if you ask me.



And lastly, people probably don't want to answer posts asking for advice because they want to avoid debate. Sometimes there are many different oppinions on a single subject and the debate can get heated. I think this subject is one of them.
