Posted by: Sloas at Fri Feb 10 23:21:24 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Sloas ] that if your boa is eating frozen thawed and he refuses a meal this week you should wait a week before more is offered. This is a classic example of why we shouldnt feed our animals live. Now I am not trying to trash you, only to make sure you realize that a boa that size can go for months without eating and a missed meal is quite common now and again with some animals. As for the treatment I would use Neosporin on it daily and keep it clean and it should heal up fine.A healthy Boa (especially one the size of yours)doesnt need to eat every 5 or 7 days IMO once in 10-12 days is sufficient if the meal is proportionatley correct.BTW he is a fine looking animal!Hope this helps.JOHN [ Hide Replies ]
