My 7 year old snake just died !?!?!?!

Hello all...Today, I cam home from work (3rd shift) and checked on my snakes as usual and my first snake ever owned had her head in her water bowl and was as dead as a door nail...It almost seemed as if she committed suicide...I checked on her yesterday along with my other animals and everything was fine...She was alert, active and overall perfect or so I thought...This was her first year breeding and everything was looking good as far as that goes...I just don't know how, why this happened or even what I should do...One year ago today I bought my first house and 7 years 7 months to the day was when I purchased my first ball python!?!
