Both do well in captivity.



Black milks will get larger than corns on average. My black milk adults are around 5 feet but they can frequently get to 6 feet.



It is also true that black milks thrive at room temperature and 85 degrees in their cage would be too warm in my opinion. I keep mine at room temp with a low watt light on one side of their cage for lighting (also creates a very slight temp gradient). Corns would require a warmer environment.



Both black milks and corns are typically great eaters and grow quickly. Generally, both are calm as well and don't mind being handled. I'm sure there's always an exception though. Either one is a great choice.
