i know that some breeder have tested different het. leopards from different bloodlines and they have get only normal boas,not leopards in the litters.
black pearls are not darker,as baby they look like many leopards very dark but they also change the color like many other leopards but here i dont know if they are leopards or not,for my opinion they are exact the same boas.
in europa you find 3 lines leopards and the "black pearl".
at the beginning this boas was only dark mexicans,than they called mephisto and than leopards,and a other strain now called black pearl(so far this also leopards),its a never ending story...
