I had a female dwarf. It clearly couldn't have reproduced. It actually couldn't even shed on it's own completely and needed assistance at some level every time she shed. On the other hand, it was every bit an indigo with the same observant behavior, motion and feeding behavior... it just didn't grow beyond 2 feet. I gave the one I had away to someone who was not interested in having anything but a pet.



I suppose if someone wants to pay for a non-breeder, they can. I did that with a pure breed dog once. That dog was worth every penny. I would have had to pay double for one that was "breeding" quality.



I think that with most snakes, a non-breeding quality animal should be the type of snake that is adopted out or sold at a reduced price. With the deserved popularity of indigos, even non-breeders have some value. If one is content to NEVER breed the animal, a dwarf is probably fine.



Just my thoughts on it.
