Frozen Rats

I went to a show this past weekend and purchased a 25 count bag of small rats, but they had all been bled out. The seller said that the guy who raises the rats sells the blood to Colleges and Universities.



I know that some kind of nutritional value is now lost due to the rats not containing any blood, but are they still alright to keep feeding to my snakes week after week or should I use a whole frozen rat every few weeks?
