The vast majority of females that come out of brumation at 400 grams will breed just fine. If they come out of brumation at 400 grams or larger AND feeding aggressively, they can be 550 or 600 grams or more by the time they're copulating. I like relying on a gram scale (staples or office depot often has them for under $100). | ||
