Since you have bred that female with two males and received similar results with the pink babies, this would stray away from that trait being recessive. For that trait to be recessive and show up from two unrelated males would be amazingly fortunate odds, especially if those males are unrelated to the female. Also, if it were to be a recessive trait, and both parents had the gene, only 25% of the litter would possess it phenotypically. It sounds as though 50% of the litter displayed the trait, also leading to the gene being dominant. I would guess your female will pass this "pink" trait on to every one of her litters, regardless of the male used. The male you plan to use next looks to have some very interesting color.
