Opinions on the use of Flagyl...

One of my males regurged and I administered 1/2 cc of flagyl. He is 9 months old and feeds on weaned rats. I plan on feeding him 1 small mouse every two weeks until no signs of regurge.

Is flagyl safe to use...i've heard differeing opinions...this is the second time i've had to use it on a snake. and the first time was very successfull.

any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
