Well, Kaplan's chart which is from Gehrman's nearly 10 year old paper still shows that the Reptisun 5.0 is the highest [at least on that chart] rated UVB bulb. For my money I'd still stick with Reptisun 5.0 as that so far has been proven out in subsequent studies to be the best fluorescent bulb on the market. If you really want a UVB meter get the Solarmeter - it's become a sort of herp industry standard, however it will only tell you how much UVB is being radiated from your bulbs and when to replace them. There is still the issue of how much UVB of what percentage is enough? ----- Matt Campbell
