what type of wood do I use?

i am currently designing a cage unit, which will be about 3Hx5L feet. containing 8 or 10 small cages on the top 2 rows and one large on on the bottom one.

before i got started i wanted to hear some advice on the best type of wood i could use.

something that can hold humidity pretty well.



does anyone have any links to any pages that have examples of wooden cage units, or even have the plans?



i appreciate any help i can get
