The Herpetological Society of the Philippines (HSP), Inc. is a national non-profit organization, which is dedicated to the scientific research of Philippine amphibians and reptiles towards their conservation. The primary emphasis of the Society are to increase knowledge on Philippine herpetology and to disseminate that knowledge to the public.



The main objectives of the HSP are:



1. To encourage, support and undertake research.



2. To provide a forum for information exchange through publications, conferences, symposia and public awareness activities.



3. To build alliances among scientists, enthusiasts and other institutions.



4. To advocate the conservation of indigenous species of amphibians and reptiles and their habitats.
