Posted by: AshLopez at Tue Feb 21 22:49:59 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by AshLopez ] Here's my W.C. female suri.I've had her 4 yrs now and was thinking about breeding her this season. However in her 2nd month of cooling (November) I noticed a small patch of scale rot and the very tip of her tail started looking like necrotic tail tip.So I raised the temps and put Neosporin on the area and it healed.I keep her cage emaculately clean. So I think it is bacterial.I have read as much literature on the subject, however they don't specify what type of bacteria and permanent cure. What else can I do to prevent future outbreaks?
