Question about misting & lighting

I tried to search for an answer, but I'm not coming up with anything. The search option is kind of baffling me. A search for " misting lighting" has no results??? Anyway . . .

For those with misting systems, do you have any protective barrier between the misters and your lighting? Is there a problem with "stray" mist causing a bulb to explode? I've seen the effects of a bit of overspray of glass cleaner on a bathroom fixture - yikes.

Any advice? Does water/moisture not effect flourescent bulbs as it does incandescent? Or as long as the misting head is below the fixture? Any input on clearance between the two?
