I am worried about my husbands blood red. When We first got him he was so lively. Was always exploring and he was never still in your hands. Over a week ago that stopped. He spends all his time hiding and doesn't move around nearly as much when handled. Even when you put him on the floor instead of rushing away like he was doing he just sits there.



What really worries me is what happened today. I put him back this morning and when I returned hours later he was almost in the same spot. He didn't bother going into his shelter. I took him out and placed him down to observe him. He then shook his head up and down almost like a seizure. Is this something that corns do? If so I have never seen it. One possibility for his mood change is that he is in ecdysis. His eyes went clear two days ago. But I thought that ecdysis made them more nervous, not calmer. Well, he did eat today. I was going to wait until after he shed but my old corn Misty always took food even in ecdysis. He ate it in a mater of minuets.



So could there be a problem here or am I just worrying over nothing?
