Both pairs hooked up last season but they were apparently a little too young and thin.
They were 3 years old last year but not quite ready, I guess.
One female laid five eggs of which only three hatched.
They were beauties, though.
The other only laid four eggs and none of those made it.
This year they are 4 years old over 4 ft with good body weight so they should produce more viable eggs...IF THEY WOULD JUST HOOK UP!!
Yes they have all shed, males and females.
I will just keep trying.
Last year they didn't hook up until the second week of March so it may still be a little early for them. ----- Corn snakes and rat snakes..No one can have just one.
