well green vine snake is a very general term what genus is the snake in question. the venom of the animal itself probably wont bother you to much but i try my hardest to ever find out what happens when you get tagged weither its hot or not. you also have to wonder if you can provide a diet of lizards or if you are capable of switching a snake from lizards to rodents not that hard and can be fun as to your legalities in your state i have no idea the information is readily available if you can aquire the snake in state its probably ok i live here in new york the most anal state around wen it comes to exotic pets and they sell them at the shows - hope that helps
