It sounds to me like you smelled like something tasty! had you touched anything that smelled like food, handled any rodents?
It is not really normal for a snake to bite you on the wrist, but I would not worry about it, unless it became a common occurance. Baby corns can be nippy (all corns - and snakes for that matter- have their own personalities). Generally it is a finger or something when you are trying to pick it up, when it is on defense or thinks its in danger.
