In fact my books say they should not be mated untill they are at least 18 months of age but others dont agree with that. I also hear that there is like a 50G minimum weight befor breeding. I am told that breeding to early can cause stunted grouth as well as a shorter life span in Leopard Geckos. I would sugest not housing them together "Even when they come of age" If you scroll down a few pages you will see I made this same mistake and they did in fact breed and Kirmy "Below" laid one egg witch was no good. I am hoping I did not do any damage by alowing them to breed to young however I still to this day notice that Alberto looks like a normal healthy Gecko while Kirmy just presents herself diferently. She is by all means healthy but just by watching her it apears that the stress I unfortunatly put her through did cause a problem with her development. Only time will tell I guess. [ Hide Replies ]
