Posted by: fattiesnleos at Mon Feb 27 13:38:49 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by fattiesnleos ] geckos are like people. take the teenagers of today. they can grow all they way till their 20s i on the other hand stopped growing at about 15. if i were 13 years old and had a kid i might grow a little afterwards but i definatly wouldnt rech my full hight. i also may suffer from some kind of deficiencies and other dificulties. the same way with geckos and anything else for that matter. kids having kids is not a good idea. some breeders do wait till their geckos reach at least 50 grams but more is better. also anything less can result in problems such as being egg bound. therefor you may loose your gecko. you should always wait at least a year. just becuase your geckos "got it on" that doesnt mean that she is for sure pregnant. you should sepperate them until she is at least a year and at least 50 grams.
