personally I've had no success with the stuff. I tried it when my kingsnake decided to fast (lizards are their staple) and it didn't touch it. I tried it on my fasting western and eastern hogs and they turned their noses up at it.

Recently my 01 male western started fasting. I spoke to a lady at the San Diego show who told me to heat it up. I did just that, put a heat lamp on him and he ate. Has worked 2 weeks in a row. He tends to stay on the opposite side from the heat matt so the ambient heat of the lamp really warmed him up.
