Just kidding. Let everyone think that they are dark and ugly so that we can enjoy them all to ourselves..muuwahhahahahahahaha
Mine actually go through the most amazing color changes almost comparable to that of Hog Island boas. Maybe even more so than the Hogs.
I currently have 17 Nicaraguan boas and I love them. Their variances in color and pattern PLUS their size, make them impressive and ideal boa for projects. They do have a small attitude but I attribute that to me rarely handling them.
Another observation...some of my mainland Nics closely resemble Corn Island boas. I wonder if they unknowningly incorporated the Corn Island variety when gathering boas for the farms during breeding season. After all, for most people in Nicaragua, they're probably just considered 'boas'. Its like The Rock in The Rundown...Brazil nuts are just called nuts in Brazil.lol. Did that make sense? I'm typing and doing 10 other things at once...multi-tasking....gotta love it. ----- Sincerely, Jason
