Hi.. as you may or may not suspect.. that boa in the message above is Boa c. constrictor, not Amarali.. it was produced from two WC BCC of Eastern Brazil. I agree it has some of the looks people often associate with Brazil short-tails. Here's a sister to that snake..

That line is interesting for the range of color and pattern it is producing, as well as just drop-dead-gorgeous boas.. Can you see how the saddles on this boa are actually red all the way up the body?.. and there is so much color! ..fascinating.

I do have some of Kevins nice Bolivian boas and it looks good to have babies from them this season. Thanks for your comments.
