No. They just like to pick places to jam themselves. My son's king snake does that all the time, then comes out at night to roam.



My daughter's corn will go in the humid hide and not come out for 3-4 days.



no worries, mate! you have a heat gradient. he'll go where he wants to get warm or cool.
